Green Sherpa Unveils Personal Finance Service

Santa Barbara-based Green Sherpa has unveiled a new, personal finance service, aimed at helping users mange their cash flow. According to the firm, its new service allows users to manage their finances, and includes features such as dynamic budgeting, goal setting and collaboration tools. The firm is showing its products at DEMOfall this week. The firm's CEO is Masen Yaffee; the COO is Erin Lozano, and its advisors include Miramar Systems' Neal Rabin and Commission Junction's Lex Sisney. Green Sherpa enters a landscape with a number of Web 2.0 competitors, including Mint.com, Buxfer, Wesabe, Rudder, and others looking to displace Intuit's Quicken and Microsoft Money, and move personal finance towards software-as-a-service.
