Los Angeles-based mobile software developer Gumiyo has quietly been acquired by fellow Los Angeles company Talus Labs, a developer of a platform used for selling digital products to local businesses. Financial terms of the buy were not announced. The acquisition actually occurred in Q2 of this year, but was not formally announced. Gumiyo's team has already been integrated into Talus Labs. Talus Labs is backed by Blackstone Capital. Gumiyo co-founder Shuki Lehavi said the Talus saw an opportunity to deliver the Gumiyo products (such as MySiteAnywhere.com) to local resellers using its own platform, and to also offer its own products to Gumiyo's customers.
