Innovative Micro Links MEMS Effort With Chinese University

Santa Barbara-based MEMS technology developer Innovative Micro Technology (IMT) said this morning that it has linked up with Peking University, via a strategic partnership. According to IMT, the deal calls for the two to work together on technology development and MEMS manufacturing, as well as to promote MEMS technology to its undergraduate and graduate students. Financial details of the deal were not announced, hwoever, IMT said it will be providing scholarship funds for specific areas of MEMS research and development at Peking University. IMT's MEMS systems are used to create a wide range of sensors, such as motion and acceleration sensors.
