Iomega Ships Disk Backup Solution-
San Diego-based Iomega (www.iomega.com) announced a new disk-to-disk backup system targeted at small and medium-sized businesses. The new solution, which utilizes Iomega's REV Technology and CA BrightStor ARCserve backup software, replaces SCSI-based tape autoloaders and other backup devices. The new solution features a 10-slot, 2U desktop design which stores up to 350GB uncompressed data. The company is looking to replace standard tape solutions with its REV format high capacity removable hard drive.
