    Linksys Offers Parental Control


    Cisco's Irvine-based Linksys division (www.linksys.com) announced that it is now offering parental control systmes from Netopia in its wireless routers. The parental control features ability to restrict time-of-week an day-of-week access to the Internet, support for most major operating systems, web site filtering, and online reporting of web surfing habits. The service will be bundled with Linksys products but requires a yearly subscription beyond a trail period.
