ZyXEL Ships Home Gateway Targeted At Parents
Anaheim-based ZyXEL (www.zyxel.com) announced a new broadband access gateway targeted at parents. The company is shipping the HomeSafe Parental Control Gateway, a home networking solution which combines a broadband gateway with firewall protection and integrated parental control capabilities. The gateway provides the ability to share Internet connections combined with subject-based content filtering to block objectionable websites, time/day limits on Internet access, and user profiles for each family member. The HS-100 and HS-100W HomeSafe Parental Control Gateways are $59.99 and $79.99, with the HS-100W also supporting wireless connectivity.
