Microsemi Licenses Technology To Microphase, Exits Market Segment

Aliso Viejo-based semiconductor maker Microsemi annoucned this morning that it has licensed its detector log video amplifier (DLVA) technology to Microphase Corporation, and is exiting that market. Financial terms of the licensing deal were not disclosed. Microsemi said the move is part of an ongoing facility consolidation plan for the company. Microphase is a developer of microwave and RF products for the military communications and electronic warfare systems market. Microsemi said the move would have no effect on its revenues.
