Versora Joins Sun Partner Program
Santa Barbara-based Versora announced that it has joined Sun's iForce partner program. Versora act as an authorized reseller of Sun's Java System 4.0 platform. Versora's server migration solutions allow users to migrate their Microsoft IIS web servers to Sun's System Web Server platform and other open source web servers. The Sun iForce program provides tools and access to Sun Microsystems resources.

Sabeus Awarded $1.3M Naval Contract
Chatsworth-based Sabeus Photonics announced that it has received a $1.3M development contract from the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) for development of a high strength fiber optic sensor array. The array would be used for sonar systems on US Navy nuclear submarines. Sabeus is a developer of fiber optic sensing technology, used for military surveillance and pipeline integrity and leak detections. The company's sensors work for pressure, temperature, seismic, and acoustic measurement.

CallWave Partners With Level 3
Santa Barbara-based CallWave announced that it has partnered with Level 3 Communications to gain access to broadband and mobile-enhancement services. Level 3 will provide a high quality transport network to allow for local number access for CallWave customers. CallWave provides VoIP application services which connect land, mobile, and computer software for users.

Autobytel To Restate Earnings
Irvine-based Autobytel said yesterday that its Audit Committee has completed a previously announced internal accounting review. According to a statement by the company, the company is reviewing the results of the internal review, and expects to restate its financial statements for the second, third, and fourth quarters of 2003, the full 2003 fiscal year, and the first and second quarters of 2004. The company said that certain unapplied credits were recognized as revenue during the four quarters, (More info...)

Buy.com, Google Partner For Advertising
Aliso Viejo-based Buy.com and Google Inc. announced this morning that the two companies have entered into an advertising partnership. The partnership calls for Google AdWords advertisements to be delivered to Buy.com customers. Google's targeted ads are now being incorporated throughout Buy.com's web site and search result pages. The companies said that the deal is expected to help Buy.com expand its revenue sources. Google's AdWords advertisements are available to any web publisher. Buy.com pro (More info...)
