Micro Memory Unveils Signal Processing Design
Chatsworth-based Micro Memory announced this morning that it is now providing a new system-on-a-chip (SoC) which provides high speed Serial RapidIO, PCI-X, or PCI-Express access to DDR controller memory. The new device, based on Xilinx programmable Virtex gate array (FPGAs) is targeted at the signal processing market including synthetic aperture and phased array radar, software defined radio, signal intelligence, and semiconductor and medical imaging.

Fastclick Touts comScore Ranking
Santa Barbara-based Internet advertising firm FastClick is touting its ranking as number two in the comScore Media Metrix report for Ad Focus. The firm said that the latest comScore report shows FastClick has overtaken Yahoo! in unique audience reach, and is now reaching over 72 percent of unique U.S. Internet users. the comScore Ad Focus Ranking report ranks advertising-supported media brands and advertising networks.

ValueClick Lands Customers
Westlake Village-based ValueClick announced today that it has signed GSN.com, 1-800-Schedule, and newspaper publisher Guardian Unlimited as customers. The three publishers have signed representation agreements with ValueClick. ValueClick will market those companies to national advertisers and interactive agencies, and will also provide access to ValueClick's ad serving products for those publishers. Userplane Links Into Friendster
Los Angeles-based Userplane this morning said that it has deployed its instant messaging tool on the popular social networking site Friendster. Userplane's Webmessenger tools is being integrated into Friendster's social networking tools, enabling members to converse through web-based chat. DoubleClick Goes Private
New York-based web advertising company DoubleClick said this morning that it has gone private in a $1.1B private equity deal. Hellman & Friedman LLC and San Diego-based JMI Equity will pay $8.50 per share to existing DoubleClick shareholders to acquire the entire interest in the firm. The two private equity firms have previously invested in Blackbaud, Mitchell International, and Vertafore.
