JuiceCaster Links With Photobucket
Los Angeles-based JuiceCaster, a provider of a mobile social networking application, said Wednesday that the firm has inked a deal with Photobucket, the online photo sharing site owned by Fox Interactive Media. According to JuiceCaster, the deal allows users of its application to post mobile videos and pictures directly to their Photobucket account. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. LeisureLink Offers New Travel Booking Software
Pasadena-based LeisureLink, which markets vacation lodging through online travel sites, said Wednesday that the firm has rolled out its own specialty lodging booking software for travel companies. The firm said that the software, which helps consumers find and book rentals, is now available for private labeling by its clients. magnify360 Gets Win With Virtual World
Los Angeles-based magnify360, a provider of software for personalizing and optimizing web content, has scored a win with virtual world provider ICYou. According to ICYou, it will use magnify360 to personalize the shopping experience for Interactive City, a virtual world run by ICYou. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed by the companies. VMIX Shuffles Staff, Rolls Out New Player
San Diego-based VMIX, a provider of video publishing tools for web publishers, said today that the firm has shuffled its executive staff and delivered a new version of its VMIX Player. According to the firm, the moves come as it goes into an "aggressive expansion" phase. VMIX said that it has appointed Mike Glickenhaus as President and CEO, and appointed co-founder and former CEO Greg Kostello as CTO. RoyaltyShare Plans New Digital Music Tracking Service
San Diego-based RoyaltyShare said this morning it will be developing a new system for tracking limited downloads and interactive streaming. According to RoyaltyShare, it will be rolling out a platform which tracks and automates the tracking of music subscriptions and streaming, based on the recent agreement by the music industry on revenue sharing for streamed music. MySpace, PayPal Partner On Nonprofit Fundraising
Los Angeles-based MySpace and PayPal announced this morning that the two companies are teaming to help people collection donations for non-profit organizations. According to the firms, they have create a fundraising software--which they are calling the MySpace IMPACT / PayPal fundraising widget--which can be placed on any MySpace page. Big Stage Partners With A-Team Producer
Pasadena-based Big Stage Entertainment, whcih provides technology to create 3D avatars, said today that it has partnered with Stephen J. Cannell Productions, the firm behind "The A-Team" and "The Greatest American Hero." According to the firms, Stephen J. Guidance Software Signs Customer
Pasadena-based Guidance Software, which develops software used for computer forensics, announced Wednesday that it has signed on Koch Industries, Inc. as a customer. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. According to Guidance, Koch will use the firm's EnCase eDiscovery software on a pay-per-use basis.
