magnify360 Gets Win With Virtual World
Los Angeles-based magnify360, a provider of software for personalizing and optimizing web content, has scored a win with virtual world provider ICYou. According to ICYou, it will use magnify360 to personalize the shopping experience for Interactive City, a virtual world run by ICYou. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed by the companies. The firms said that the virtual world is set for launch in winter of 2009. magnify360's technology will be used to tailor the experience of each "resident" of the virtual world, and also provide information on shopping habits of its consumers. ICYou is based in Sweden; magnify360 is backed by MHS Capital and angel investors.
