YouMail Launches New Business Service As It Hits 4M Users
YouMail, the enhanced voicemail service provider headed by Alex Quilici, has launched a brand new, business oriented premium service, as it reports it also has just passed four million registered users. Tinder Takes On Dating Via iPhone
Is your iPhone the answer to your romantic life? Tinder, a brand new iPhone dating app created by Sean Rad and Justin Mateen of Hatch Labs, has just launched, in a quest to help users better connect with others via their iPhone. StockTwits Hit By Twitter Rule Changes
San Diego-based StockTwits, the stock and finance focused micro-messaging service headed by Howard Lindzon, looks like it has a new challenge on its hands: how to deal with a rule change by Twitter which makes it so that users can no longer directly post to Twitter with a ticker symbol, and have that reflected in their StockTwits account. iRise Updates Platform
El Segundo-based iRise, which develops enterprise software visualization tools used for prototyping and specifying corporate applications, said today that it has released a new version of its platform. The firm said the update includes features to easily import existing web pages into its simulations; project estimation tools; and revision management, along with other features. iRise is backed by Morgan Stanley Venture Partners and Deutsche Bank.

SpaceX Wins Satellite Launch Contract With Spacecom
Hawthorne-based commercial spaceflight firm Space Exploration Technologies said Tuesday afternoon, along with Israeli satellite operator Space Communication Ltd. (Spacecom), that SpaceX has agreed to launch a Spacecom satellite into space. The two said that SpaceX will launch Spacecom's AMOS-6 satellite into space on the Falcon 9, placing that company's satellite into geosynchronous transfer orbit. Fullscreen Names East Coast Sales VP
Culver City-based YouTube network Fullscreen said Tuesday that it has hired Justin Danko as Vice President of Sales and Brand Strategy, East Coast. Danko was previously VP of Branded Entertainment at Viacom Media Networks, working on MTVN Music Group and MTV Entertainment Group; he also worked at Comedy Central and USA Network. Fullscreen offers up a number of services to both content creators and brands, and is headed by George Strompolos, who the firm said helped co-created the YouTube Partner (More info...)

Lynda.com Debuts Microsoft Office 2013 Content
Carpinteria-based Lynda.com announced this morning that it has released a number of online training courses, to coincide with the release of Microsoft's Office 2013 and Office 365. The company, which publishes online, video training courses, said the releases bring it to more than 175 courses on Microsoft software. Lynda.com has been ramping up its content development efforts after a large, $103M funding round earlier this month from Accel Partners and Spectrum Equity.
