Los Angeles-based online and mobile advertising technology developer OpenX Technologies has launched a new system it says helps publishers forecast their traffic and manage their advertising inventory. According to OpenX, its new forecasting system--which is part of its OpenX Ad Server--will help publishers predict future web traffic volume, composition, and analyze campaigns before they launch. The company said the new features will help publisher reclaim revenue they would previously had lost because of under-delivery of ads, and even automatically accounts for seasonal traffic changes.
