Pasadena-based solar panel firm Practical Instruments said today that it has added three new solar installers for the firm's products. Practical Instruments said that it has added Energy Options, Permacity Corporation and Advanced Solar Electric, all based in Southern California, as installers of its solar panels. Practical Instruments is developing solar concentrators which reduce the cost of silicon in conventional solar panels. The firm is funded by Nth Power, Rincon Venture Partners, Rockport Capital Partners, and Trinity Ventures.
