Aliso Viejo-based Quest Software said Wednesday afternoon that it has inked a deal to buy PassGo Technologies, a British firm which provides access and identity management software. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. PassGo develops Active Directory software for the IBM zSeries, iSeries (S/390 and AS/400), and Unix systems. PassGo's CEO John Rainford will become VP of PassGo Produts at Quest Software. Quest said that the deal is expected to close in early 2008.
