    Quest Ties Into Eclipse IDE

Aliso Viejo-based Quest Software said Monday morning that the firm's JProbe Java profiling software now connects into the popular Eclipse integrated development environment (IDE). The upgrade to its software, which is used to analyze software source code, can now be launched from within the Eclipse IDE; Quest also said it has joined the Eclipse Foundation, the group which oversees development of the open source Eclipse IDE software. Quests's JProbe software analyzes Java source code and provides memory analysis, and analysis of heap memory. The software is available both in freeware, and commercial versions.
