Los Angeles-based Rubicon Project, which operates an online, real-time advertising exchange, has scored a win with Comcast Spotlight, the advertising sales division fo Comcast Cable. According to the companies, Rubicon is powering a new, private advertising exchange for Comcast Spotlight, which will allow advertising buyers to purchase advertising across Comcast's websites, including XFINITY.com and xfinityTV.com. Financial impact of the deal were not disclosed. The two said that Comcast Spotlight will be using Rubicon Project's Advertising Automation Cloud, which is used for real-time bidding and ad placements.
