    Siafu Launches iSCSI Appliances


    Poway-based Siafu, a new startup in the storage arena, has shipped its first set of products. Siafu said today that it has launched its line of Swarm iSCSI storage appliances, targeted at providing iSCSI storage to users. The company is targeting Microsoft, Linux, Solaris, and NetWare operating systems with its hardware, with a focus on Microsoft iSCSI initiators. Siafu is headed by John Matze, former VP and CTO at Overland Storage.
