SMC Rolls Out Wireless Storage Server

Irvine-based SMC Networks has introduced a new wireless network file server for 802.11g networks. The company's new EZ Connect Wireless AP Storage product provides both wireless network connectivity to users along with two USB hard disk drive connectors for connecting USB-based hard drives. The new device acts much like a wireless print server in allowing access to any connected storage. The company said that the device includes two USB2.0 connectors and supports hard drives and memory sticks. The new storage server also has room for a 2.5" internal hard drive and Samba Server capability.
