    SMC Ships Stackable Switches


    Irvine-based SMC has rolled out new stacking Gigabit Ethernet switches, expanding its line of Ethernet equipment. The company's new TigerStack 10/100/1000 48-Port Stackable Switches and 24-port Stackable Managed Switches are targeted at providing Gigabit Ethernet backbone capability for workgroup and enterprises. The switches both features 10G uplinks and management features such as RADIUS, TACACS+, traffic prioritization, and more.
