Los Angeles-based SupperKing, the startup which develops a mobile app enabling people to link with their friends and neighbors for a social dining experience, has tied with a group to promote social dining for charities. The startup said it has linked with the Creative Visions Foundation, which will allow organizations to raise money for charity by creating and hosting community dining events. SupperKing's mobile app allows users to offer up home-cooked meals to friends and neighbors, and allows anyone to sign up to participate in those social dining events. Creative Visions said that SupperKing's concept is "ideal" for organizations who want to crowd-fund charitable causes.
