Women's Clothing Tops Shopping Lists
Los Angeles-based PriceGrabber released its Black Friday online shopping statistics over the weekend, giving a peek into what kinds of products consumers are looking for on the comparison shopping site. The site found that the top categories for shopping were women's boots; watches; Blu-ray/HD-DVD players; women's sleep and lounge wear; and games and puzzles. Among the top ten categories of interest, five of the most popular categories were related to women's clothing or shoes. Among individual items being shopped for most were the Nintendo Wii; Ugg boots; Sony's 1080p Blu-Ray Disc Player; a Sansung 52" LCD TV; and Nintendo's Wii Fit. PriceGrabber is a unit of Experian.
