Xerox Funds UCSB Project
Xerox has invested $200K in a UC Santa Barbara project, as part of the company's support of universities in the US, Canada, and Europe. Xerox said yesterday that it has provided a research grant to the University of California-Santa Barbara for investigation of next-generation image enhancement algorithms. The project will focus on image quality, performance, and automation in image processing. The project was one of 10 new research projects the company announced yesterday, which are focused on promoting interaction between Xerox researchers and their counterparts at universities.
