Miso Robotics Rolls Out Robotic Coffee Product

Pasadena-based cooking robot developer Miso Robotics has rolled out a new line of robots, this time, an automated coffee system. According to the company, it is rolling out its CookRight Coffee System with Panera Bread, which will evaluate and test the company's system. Miso Robotics said the new product is an artificial intelligence-powered system which monitors key coffee metrics such as volume, temperature and time data, and helps Panera associates brew a new batch of coffee at "precisely the right time". Miso said that the system will help support Panera's Unlimited Sip Club membership, which allows subscribers to drink unlimited coffee and tea for $8.99/month. Financial impact of the deal were not announced; Miso Robotics is partially venture backed but has been very active crowdfunding its business.
