Rocket Lab Slips Venus Launch

Los Angeles-based Rocket Lab has slipped its original launch date for an attempt to send a space probe to the planet of Venus. According to TechCrunch, the mission--originally scheduled to launch last month--is now likely to not launch earlier than January 2025. The mission would be a major stretch for Rocket Lab, which has been launching small cubesats into low earth orbit; the Venus mission is being worked on with researhers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and other organizations.
