Snapchat Launches Payment Service With Square

Venice-based Snapchat said Monday that it has launched a new feature, which lets users pay their friends using the company's mobile app. According to Snapchat, it partnered with payment firm Square, which lets you type a dollar sign and amount to send to a friend's bank account, using a user's debit card. Snapchat said the feature will be available to users in the United States who have a debit card and are 18 or older.
