Los Angeles-based Abraxis Bioscience reported Friday that it has appointed Rick Rodgers as the firm's Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Rodgers replaces current CFO, David O'Toole. Rodgers was most recently SVP, Controller, and Chief Accounting Officer at MGI Pharma, and has also served at MedSource Technology, ADC TElecommunications, and Arthur Anderson & Co. Reason for the departure of O'Toole was not given. Abraxis is a biotechnology firm focused on treating cancer.
