    Acquicor Technology Completes Merger With Jazz Semi


    Newport Beach-based Acquicor Technology, the merger and acquisition firm headed by former Apple execs Gil Amelio, Ellen M. Hancock and Steve Wozniak, said today that it has completed its merger with Jazz Semiconductor. The new firm wil lbe known as Jazz Technologies. The deal was worth $260.1M. The firm will trade under the name JAZ on the American Stock Exchange. Jazz Semiconductor is a provider of mixed signal CMOS semiconductors, and was a spinout of Conexant funded by The Carlyle Group.
