Amazon Starts Using Rivian EVs On The Road

Amazon said this morning that it has begun using electric vehicles (EVs) from Rivian across more than a dozen cities. Rivian has operations in Southern California, and in particular in Orange County. According to Amazon, it has started using Rivian's custom delivery vehicles in Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas, Kansas City, Nashville, Phoenix, San Diego, Seattle, and St. Louis. Amazon says it expects to have thousands of its custom electric delivery vehicles in more than 100 cities by the end of the year, with 100,000 across the U.S. by 2030.
