San Diego-based Anakam, a developer of multi-factor, software-based authentication products, has been acquired by Equifax, according to Equifax. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Anakam develops a suite of software used by companies to better authenticate remote users. According to Equifax, Anakam becomes a division of the firm, and will become part of its Technology and Analytical Services organizations. Anakam was founded in 2004, and was run by Allan Camaisa.
