Atari Founder Targets New Theme Restaurant

Atari and Chuck E. Cheese founder Nolan Bushnell is ramping up his efforts to develop a new theme restaurant chain. John Kaufman, former VP of Operations at CPK, and COO of Koo Koo Roo and Rosti restaurant chains has joined Bushnell in a new Los Angeles-based company, uWink Media Bistro, targeted at creating a multimedia-focused, adult-focused theme restaurant. According to uWink, Kaufman will develop and oversee restaurant operations for uWink Media Bistro as a consultant. The company is focusing on 21-34 year old females and developing interactive entertainment for restaurants, bars, and mobile devices.
