Autobytel Shuffles Execs
Irvine-based Autobytel said yesterday that it has appointed a new CEO and President, as the company continues to struggle with a financial restatement. Autobytel has appointed Richard Post as CEO and President, as current CEO Jeffrey Schwartz steps down and becomes Vice Chairman of the company. Post was CFO of MediaOne Group and will supervise the company's work to remedy issues related to its financial restatements. Autobytel also said that it has appointed Richard Walker as COO. Walker was formerly the company's EVP Corporate Development and Strategy.
