Autobytel Taps AOL For Two Executives

Irvine-based Autobytel, a provider of online automotive marketing and auto-buying services, has named two executives from AOL to head up its web operations. The firm said this week that it has added Jon Rosen, fomer head of strategy and business development for AOL's Search Group, as Senior VP of its Web Business Operations. It also named George Roletter, who led AOL Studio, as VP Website Operations. The executives follow new CEO Jim Riesenbach from AOL, where he was SVP of AOL's Search and Directional Media Group. Riesenbach has been shuffling the company's executive staff and focus. Autobytel said earlier this month that it was cutting 10 percent of its workforce to focus on media and dealer marketing services.
