Aliso Viejo-based Avanir Pharmaceuticals, which is developing treatments for central nervous system disorders, said today that it has added Ms. Corinne Nevinny to its board of directors. Nevinny is General Partner at venture capital firm LMNVC LLC. Nevinny also has served at Edwards Lifesciences Corporation, Tularik, and Warburg Dillon Read LLC. The company also said Nevinny serves on the boards of Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Neocrine Biosciences, and three un-named private companies.
