San Diego-based BakBone Software, a developer of data storage backup software, said Thursday afternoon that the firm has hired on Steve Martin as the firm's Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Martin was most recently Chief Accounting Officer for Leap Wireless. Martin has also served at Strategene Corporation, Gen-Probe, Neura Communications, Aldila Golf Corp., and Deloitte & Touche.
