Believer Company Finds $55M

Los Angeles-based videogame startup The Believer Company said this week that it has raised $55M in a Series A funding round. The funding came from Lightspeed, Andreessen Horowitz, BITKRAFT, Cleveland Avenue, Riot Games, 1Up Ventures, Michael D. Eisner’s Tornante, and others. The startup is led by veterans of Riot Games, with former Riot Games VP Michael Chow serving as the CEO.
