BIOLASE Names New Board Member

Irvine-based dental laser developer BIOLASE has named a new member of its board of directors, the company announced this morning. BIOLASE said it has appointed Richard B. Lanman, M.D., a biotech entrepreneur who is now serving as Chief Medical Officer at Guardant Health, to its board. Lanman replaces Frederick H. Moll, who is resigning due to commitments associated with his role as CEO of Auris Surgical Robotics, Inc. Lanman previously also served at Veracyte, diaDexus, Atherotech, San Jose Medical Group, and Kaiser Permanente.
