CalAmp Appoints VP
Oxnard-based CalAmp Corp., which develops wireless communications products, announced this morning that it has appointed Mike Zachan as the firm's Vice President and General Manager of its Aercept business unit. According to CalAmp, Zachan joins the firm from the BridgeWorks Group, a management consulting firm. Zachan has also served at DPAC Technologies and Conexant Systems. CalAmp develops wireless components and systems for the direct broadcast satellite, public safety, industrial monitoring, and other areas.
