A Glimpse of Tomorrow: Six Startups That are Putting Southern California on the Venture-Tech Map
Location:Pasadena
A Glimpse of Tomorrow: Six Startups That are Putting Southern California on the Venture-Tech Map. Caltech Entrepreneurs Forum Pasadena and Cross Campus Santa Monica. Attend a special breakfast panel engagement with the heads of six Internet startups that are putting Southern California on the Venture-Tech map. Southern California is now one of the top 5 destinations to launch a tech-startup. The companies being incubated, accelerated, launched and funded are aiming to disrupt markets across a broad spectrum: from e-commerce and financial services to Big Data, advertising, and social media. Where did these companies come from? Who started them? What inspired them? What have they learned from their experiences? We have assembled a panel of six founder/CEOs from some of the first companies to emerge from local area accelerators. Come listen as they share their experiences and insights about what it takes to build a startup in Southern California. You will hear first-hand from those who are on the leading edge of a new generation of entrepreneurs. See http://www.entforum.caltech.edu
