CarParts.com Names New CTO

Torrance-based online auto parts e-commerce company CarParts.com says this morning that it has named Kals Subramanian as its Chief Technology Officer. Sabramanian was most recently Vice President of eCommerce Technology at Lowe's, and previously served at Best Buy and Target. CarParts.com said that the hire is the first by new CEO David Meniane. The company's prior CTO shifts to the role of Chief Information Officer.
