Certona Scores $7M

San Diego-based Certona said today that it has raised $7M in a Series A financing, led by ABS Ventures. Prior investor Express Ventures also participated. Certona is a provider of optimization and personalization products for retailers. According to the firm, the funding will go to expand sales, marketing, customer support, and product development. Certona's software is used for personalizing the online retail experience based on visitor interests and behavior. The firm had raised a seed round of funding in February of 2007 for its products from Express Ventures. More information »
