CinemaNow Supports Intel Viiv
Marina Del Rey-based CinemaNow, a provider of broadband video-on-demand services, said this morning that it will support Intel's new consumer-focused Viiv technology based PCs. CinemaNow said that both its US- and Japanese services would support Viiv, Intel's new Viiv brand provides a dual-core processor, chipset, and network controller aimed at consumers and handling of digital audio and video. The new brand is focused on the digital entertainment area. Intel said that CinemaNow's video content supports its strategy to develop a selection of digital entertainment for the home. CinemaNow provides broadband download and viewing of movies and other video content.
