Classy Launches Cryptocurrency Nonprofit Donation Funds

San Diego-based Classy, which develops software for nonprofits, says it has added new ways for nonprofits to receive donations in the form of cryptocurrency. According to the company, it has launched a new effort with Coinbase Commerce and The San Diego Foundation to create three new Crypto Giving Funds, which it says will make it easier for cryptocurrency holders to donate to nonprofits. The company said the new funds will allow donors to make take-deductible crypto donations to a variety of nonprofits in the food relief, health, and community support sectors. The donations go to either nonprofits in the food relief, hospital and health, or community support areas, and include such nonprofits as World Central Kitche, Feeding San Diego, City of Hope, Team Rubicon, and The Salvation Army.
