Commission Junction Opens APIs
Westlake Village-based Commission Junction, a provider of affiliate marketing services for e-commerce web sites, said today that it has released two new web services APIs. The APIs (application programming interfaces) can be used by web publisheers to pull daily and real-time commission data from Commission Junction's services. The move follows a trend by web companies to open up direct access to data in their systems, using open web standards. The programming interfaces allow customers to integrate their applications with Commission Junction's services more closely. Commission Junction said that it has a new developer Web site for its clients, which contains articles, sample applications, APIs, announcements, and other resources for its developers. Commission Junction is a part of ValueClick.
