CrowdStrike Opens New Operation In India

Cybersecurity software developer CrowdStrike, which has major operations in Irvine, said late last night that it has opened up a new Innovation and Development Center in Pune, India. According to CrowdStrike, the new center is an expansion of its operation sin the Asia Pacific and Japan (AP) area. CrowdStrike said the new office will be led by Jagdish Mahapatra, who will serve as Managing Director Asia. Mahapatra previously had been at McAfee and Cisco. CrowdStriks said the expanded presence in the AP region and team is part of an effort to help drive growth within India and its Southeast Asia and North Asia area.
