Cylance Names Chief Privacy Officer

Irvine-based cybersecurity software developer Cylance said Tuesday morning that it has named Greg Silberman as the company's Chief Privacy Officer. Silberman--who has been at Cylance since 2016--is a lawyer, and was most recently Partner in the Cybersecurity, Privacy and Data Protection practice group in the Silicon Valley office of Jones Day. He also served at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Cylance said Silberman will oversee the implementation and enforcement of practices that manage data following its privacy rules.
