Irvine-based antivirus software developer Cylance has raised $42M in a Series C funding, the company said last week. The funding was led by DFJ Growth, and also included KKR, Dell Ventures, Capital One Ventures and TenEleven Ventures. Cylance says it is using artificial intelligence to predict, identify, and stop cyber attacks on computer endpoints. Cylance is led by former McAfee Global CTO Stuart McClure.
