Digital Domain Expands In India

Los Angeles-based visual effects and virtual and augmented reality developer Digital Domain has opened up a new studio in Hyderabad, India, the company said on Monday. According to Digital Domain, the new studio, Digital Domain India, is located at IT/ITES Special Economic Zone campus in Hyderabad, which is also home to offices for Apple, Microsoft, Facebook and Google. As part of the new office, Digital Domain has named Sudhir Reddy as Head of Digital Studio; Reddy was previously at Reliance MediaWorks. Venkatech Roddam, the forer CEO of Reliance MediWorks, has joined the company as Senior Strategic Advisor.
