    DivX Gets Win With Sony Playstation
    San Diego-based DivX said Tuesday morning that its video decoding technology has been adopted by Sony Computer Entertainment's Playstation 3 platform. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. DivX said that its technology will be integrated into the Sony PS3, through a future system software update. End user availability of the DivX support was not announced, however DivX said the technology is available to developers as part of a recently released software development kit from Sony.
