    Dot Hill Taps Manufacturing Firms


    Carlsbad-based Dot Hill Systems said Thursday that it has signed a contract manufacturer and supply chain services firm. Dot Hill said it is in a manufacturing agreement with MiTAC International, a contract manufacturing firm, and SYNNEX, an IT supply chain services company. MiTAC will manufacture, assemble, and test Dot Hill's products in China; SYNNEX will provide final assembly, testing and configure-to-order services in Fremont, California and Telford, United Kingdom. Dot Hill is a developer of storage devices for the enterprise market.
